Weekly updates of Liverpool Fc , Transfer updates and International Champions Cup

Weekly Updates Of liverpool Fc

As we all know Liverpool Fc is on its LFC Tour 2014, Here lets summarize the weekly update of the club with the matches, transfer updates, rumors  and gossips in the market along with recent signings for the Club.

The Reds suffered a defeat to AS Roma on its friendly match played on Fenway sports park where the presence of Reds supporters had proved some inspiration to the players but they failed to make a victory on that occasion.

During the match, some LFC fans from Nepal capitalized on making their presence on the Venue taking selfies with the owner of LFC, John W Henry. This tour of the club will surely make the fans happy to watch their favorite player playing in front of them.

With loss to the friendly with AS Roma, the question of attacking force and team’s performance were questioned. While on training, Adam Lallana suffered a knee injury which will keep the midfielder out of the ground for the starting of the League.

The Legends of Liverpool FC legends – Rush, Fowler , Daglish made a visit to the site of the Boston Bombings monument where a lot of people lost their life when a marathon was taking place. The club Ambassadors have done their best to make Liverpool known to lot of people and promote the goodwill among fellow Americans.

Dejan Lovren- Liverpool FC's new signing

Liverpool Transfer Updates:

The targeted players who Brendan Rodgers have in his list for building a competent and title challenging squad for the coming season ahead gained some spotlight this week as well. The names linked with Liverpool FC, Loic Remy, Dejan Lovren, Divock Origi, Karim Benzema, Marco Reus. Among the linked names Dejan Lovren completed a successful transfer from his former Club Southampton around the fee of £20 million making himself a record himself in the LFC history as the most expensive defender.

The other player linked with Liverpool FC Loic Remy could not make a successful  transfer  as the reports are suggesting that he could not make a successful transfer because of his failure in the medicals. The deal with the QPR striker was worth around £8.5 million. Borussia Dortmund have stated that Marco Reus is not for sale though the german have been showing interests to play for the Reds. With facing the challenges from the new arrivals, Karim Benzema have a tough task ahead to establish himself in the team and he has discouraged the links with the Reds stating that Liverpool FC was not a big club.

Finally, the reds made a narrow gap victory on Olympiacos, in the International Champions Cup with a 1- 0 margin. Raheem Sterling’s one and only goal in the 5th minutes secured the victory for the Reds. With this narrow victory the attacking and fierce game Liverpool played last season were questioned ?? Have Liverpool lost their playing style ? or trying to adjust with the new members in the squad composing itself for what it was known.

Dejan Lovren will be flying to US to join the tour with the squads who are already their where they will next be facing Manchester City and AC Milan in the International Champions Cup.

How, was the weekly updates of Liverpool FC from a LFC fan from Nepal, Looking forward for the other games in International Champions Cupa and a friendly with Borrusia Dortmund in Anfield.

Please submit your comments or any updates on LFC this week I missed, it will be appreciated a lot. You Will Never  Walk Alone (YNWA) Friends.

Steven Gerrard reitres from country duties for welfare of Liverpool Fc, who will replace captain fantastic??

Steven Gerrard – former skipper of the England Football Team has announced his retirement from country duties. The Liverpool FC man dedicated his services totally to the club. The era when  he captained the English team will always be memorable.

Statistics of Steven Gerrard for his country
His team mate in Liverpool FC and country football, Jamie Carragher states that there will be no replacement for Steven Gerrard in English Football again in terms of his position as a leadership qualities. The way he possessed the ball in the midfield and made distribution to all players will be greatly missed. He received the arm band after the succession of Roy Hodgson as a team mentor with whom he had worked earlier in Liverpool. He succeeded John Terry for the captainship and guided his team in the world cup 2014. In spite of great performance by the three Lions, they suffered a disappointing early exit from the tournament.

When asked about his decision of retirement from International football, Steven Gerrard mentioned the reason of the time he will have to devote to the club after the return back of Champions League back to Anfield along with other games where he will have to play 2-3 times a week. He felt it was the appropriate time to retire himself to Club level games although keeping a smooth relationship with Football Associations (FA).

"I have enjoyed every minute of representing my country and it is a sad day for me knowing that I won't pull on the England shirt again,"

"However, I do look forward to continuing my strong relationship with the FA and helping out in any way I can going forward.
"I'd like to firstly thank my family and friends for all their support throughout my England journey. I'd also like to thank everyone who has been part of my international career, from the England managers I've played under to the staff at the FA and, of course, all the players I've been fortunate to play alongside.
"In particular, the supporters have been amazing, not least in Brazil when they got behind the team despite the disappointing results.
"I'd especially like to thank Roy Hodgson, firstly for giving me the captaincy permanently when he took the job, making me the proudest man in the country and allowing me to fulfil my childhood dream.
"He has been very understanding over the past few weeks and is a man I will always hold in the highest regard.

"Most importantly, Brendan [Rodgers] has been fantastic and obviously I have to look after my body as much as possible to ensure I can give everything when I take to the field. "This has been a very difficult decision, one of the toughest I've had to make in my career. I have agonised over this since coming back from Brazil and have spoken to family, friends and people close to me in the game before coming to this point.
"To ensure I can keep playing to a high level and giving everything to Liverpool Football Club I believe this is the right decision, and having Champions League football back at Anfield is another big factor in my decision.”

With departure of Steven Gerrard, Roy Hodgson will face the challenge of a proper replacement for the former skipper. He will have to build up a strong youth team, taking the English Football to another level. There is no doubt that Gerrard has been the key player in English squad, so with his departure the questions have been raised who will be skippering the team with exemplary performance and Leadership as Steven Gerrard used to do before. Gary Cahil, Wayne Rooney, Glen Johnson, Leighton Baines, Joe Hart are some names that surface as the next names for the candidacy for the arm band but who will Hodgson trust with the responsibilities is still unclear as the qualifiers for the Euro Cup 2016 is what they have next in hand.

The following are statistics of Steven Gerrard with his country:
Appearances :114

                          Starts :110
         Minutes on Pitch : 8,730
                           Goals: 21
          Shots on Target : 64
          Shots off Target : 76
             Blocked shots : 46
                 Goal assists : 22
         Chances created : 188
               Total passes : 5,636
     Pass completion % : 80%
               Total croses : 402
   Cross completion % : 27%
       Dribbles and runs : 228
Dribble Completion % : 61%
             Tackles made : 345
          Tackles won  % : 73%
                        Blocks :44
                  Clearances : 127

The retirement  from International Football will of course be  for the welfare and time contribution towards the club which shows no more any need to prove how devoted he is to the club and what the club means to him. This is why he is always our captain fantastic as always. Your contribution for your country will always be remembered and your achievements during this period will be marked in history.

How was the post friends, please do comment about it. If something's missing please let me  know. Thank you. YNWA

Luis Suarez’s best moments in Liverpool Fc
Luis Suarez's best moments at liverpool

How much will Liverpool miss their ace star?, Time will show it but let us recall some key moments of the Liverpool Fc’s striker after his transfer to Barcelona FC. Luis Suarez is a playmaker, precious talent, determined, spectacular goals, the bans he received, on and off pitch popularity and the transfer and rumor saga throughout his stay in Liverpool FC will be memorable for ever for the fans.

Today, let’s discuss some defined moments Luis Suarez had with us:

§  Made a wonderful debut in his first game against Stoke city at Anfield: Luis Suarez scored on his debut at Anfield on the game against Stoke City. The player who was to replace Fernando Torres, making a switch to Chelsea proved his determined attitude in the game. He came as a substitute and scored after 6 minutes to win the game 2-0.

§  Played a key role in thrashing Manchester United: When its Liverpool FC and Manchester United face each other in the ground, the whole world( I mean football supporters from all over the world J ) comes to a halt. In this match played on March 2011, Luis Suarez played a key role to trash the United though the match belonged to Dirk Kuyt, he made to important contribution to set up the goals for the Netherland striker. Dirk Kuyt became the first player since Peter Beardsly to score a hatrick. The Liverpool no. 7 had just made his fourth appearance for the club impressing everyone.

§  8 months ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra, Manchester United player: Luis Suarez was found guilty and fined a sum of £40,000 for the incident. He had a heated exchange with Patrice Evra, who claimed he was racially abused. After investigation the Football Association (FA) handed him 8 match ban and fined too. After, this incident he refused to shake hand with Patrice Evra on their next meeting at Old Trafford in February 2012.

§  Dives in front of David Moyes : When your opposing team Manager makes a bad comment of you, You obviously take it by heart. Same incident happened with Luis Suarez, he was accused as a diver by David Moyes who was the Manager of Everton. After scoring against them, he dived infront of the Everton Manager as a satire for his accusation where the mersyside derby ended with 2- 2.

§  Bites Ivanovic of Chelsea and receives a 10 match ban: Liverpool FC were hosting the blues at Anfield where the incident happened. The reds were facing some pressure, Saurez held Branislav Ivanovic by his hands and was caught biting on his hand. This had him imposed a 10 match ban where he missed the rest of the gamesof 2012- 2013 season.

§  Tries to leave the club and join Arsenal and other club : Luis Suarez blamed the club and the Manager trying a escape from anfield where on the other side Arsenal were interested on him also proposing a bid of £40 million at that time. He issued statement back from his home where he was serving the ban, the desire  to leave the club showing English Media the reason to do so. But the club and the owner John W Henry stood firm on the decision to keep the asset at any cost.

§  Shines alongside Daniel sturridge making influential comeback after the ban: After serving the 10 match ban after biting Branislav Ivanovi of Chelsea, he made a influential comeback at the Stadium of Lights against sunderland on September 2013. Daniel Sturridge set up 2 goals for Luis Suarez and scored 1 for himself to mark the return of his team mate.

§  Punished Norwich once again with his extra ordinary record holding performance: Norwich have been threated before with a spectacular performance by Luis Suarez before. Anfield has witnessed lots of its legends performing the best in their career. The masterpiece performance of him helped to create a record and a memorable performance. He scored 4 goals and set up another one on the 5-1 defeat of the cannaries on December 2013.

§  Signs new contract: With the completion of his contract, He signed a new deal of 4 and half years at December 2013 with reds commiting himself to the club. He made it public that he was in love with the city and the fans were amazing as described by him, which was the reason for the extension of his contract.

§  Cries at Crystal Palace: The day was May 5th, Monday 2014 where Liverpool FC were playing with Crystal Palace. Liverpool’s all dream were shattered and broken with the draw at the last minutes. With win they would have secured a strong probability of winning the title as were in prediction before. Though leading with 3 goals and winning most of the ball possession. The defensive incapability of the Reds conceded  3 goals at the last minutes shattered all dreams. he was devasted of the result who cired on the ground.

§  Won Football player of the Year: Luis Suarez won double player of the year award though he missed to achieve one with the team. His individual performance for the season gained him those critically acclaimed awards. He won Footballer’s Association Player of the year before receiving the same title from the Football Writers Association Player of the Year with his 31 goals for the season.

You will be surely missed Suarez at Liverpool. As you are a professional, playing football is your profession be the best at it and some sentiments and emotions do keep values in life and never forget what Anfield was to you and what the Liverpool Fans did at your bad times. You will Never Walk Alone (YNWA) Suarez. Best wishes for your future.

Time heals every wounds, why i think Luis Saurez needed this transfer.

The much speculated move of the Liverpool FC star has been completed officially as both clubs have confirmed the deal in their official websites wishing a farewell and a welcome respectively. In this post, I will express my views why Luis Saurez move out of Barclay’s Premiere League was a Most.

The entry of the Ajax star was made with a lot of expectations from Kenny Daglish. As expected the Uruguayan star had made his impressions on his games. The talent he possesses were being explored efficiently and Kenny Daglish had been able to get the most out of him, but still the expectations were all dwelled on him as other players had not been as key player for the club. The faith of the skipper on their asset(Luis Suarez) had shown colors, he had been contributing the main role in crucial games for Liverpool FC.

The bad guy image he had attained in Ajax biting a player receiving a ban of seven
Luis Saurez with FC Barcelona's No. 9 jersey
matches and controversial career in his youth days came to attention of the British Media
. The expectation – Mersysiders had on Luis Suarez and the popularity and the support from the Reds to their striker was intolerable for the British Media so they started a plot against the Uruguayan star. Luis suarez started getting a lot of coverage on media and most of which were a criticism against his footballing career and his days in Liverpool. The British media felt he was a over rated player lacking discipline, gutsy, egoist and a foul entrance to their Football league.

What I find about Luis Suarez, is determined to win, competent, deliverer, emotionally and psychologically weak but breath taking with the balls. He is wonderful with the balls as he is a dynamic and versatile player suiting himself in different positions. The goals he has scored, the assists he have made and the inspiration he has made to his team mates that proves it all. There is no doubt he is irreplaceable but through what situation he has been through its better for his career and in the best of Liverpool FC to let him go.

It might seem unfaithful of him to make a move despite the support and faith of Liverpool Fans on him during his controversial days, his rise as a star in the wonderful season he had the year before. But we also must be aware and think the situation he is standing on his shoes. How much games will he be able to deliver his best with the booing and criticism in his games in England? As we know he is psychologically weak, what if he breaks down again and involves in a act that results in a severe ban , much more than he is currently serving? There is no doubt in dedication, love and loyalty of Luis Suarez to his club but the different circumstances and the development in his career now suggests him to make a move out of Anfield to the Catalans. And the owners and club management might have understood the situation and the analyzed the situation to let the Star to let him go.

After his performance in the world cup against England, and the ban he is serving right now. He will find it very difficult to make a come back to English Premier League and Now we are into Champions League, we cannot afford ourselves to go in such tough competition with our star out of the squad. Which a team like Barcelona Fc, comprising of stars can compensate his absence with other players.

Thus, I feel the move of Luis Suarez from Liverpool Fc to FCBarcelona is on the best of the Club, player and Fans interest. The pain of departure of loved ones is awful but as you know “Time is the strongest medicine which heals every wound”.

We all know what Luis Suarez was to Liverppol FC and your absence will always prevail in Anfield. Prove what you worth in the Catalans land we are always with you. You will Never Walk alone Luis a heartfelt farewell and best wishes for your days ahead.

Luis saurez transfer for FC Barcelona for 88 million Euro, who should Liverpool FC sign next?

Finlally, the Liverpool’s Luis saurez’s transfer saga has come to an end. Fc Barcelona is reportedly have met the release cause as set in the Livepool Fc’s starlet long term contract which he signed earlier December commiting his long term future to the merssyside club.

Luis Saurez Transfer to FC Barcelona
According to a football activities reporting portal, Liverpool FC and FcBarcelona have reached an agreement for the Transfer of Liverpool’s sensational striker Luis Suarez for a fee of around 88 million euro. The speculations had been made in the transfer arena for a long time and the reports that surfaced during this periods had predicted the almost done deal in regard to the Striker’s future. The done deal is completed in cash but earlier speculations were made that Fc Barcelona was offering  Chilean world cup star Alexis Sanchez for the deal plus some cash.

But the Chilean have been showing his distaste for Mersyside club showing his preference to Arsenal. And reports are surfacing in media that Alexis Sanchez move has been completed  with Arsenal around a fee of around £ 31.8 million. Liverpool Fc had shown its interest for the Chile star but not failing to secure the move, it has been actively involved in the summer transfer market despite the world cup fever. It has secured the services of some fantastic players who have showed their best performance in the last league game from their respective clubs.

Players in a club are their assets, as in Accounting assets are appreciate, depreciated and sometimes the market’s demand for a particular product gets high. In such case, you are faced with such a dilemma where you analyze the pros and cons of that product. Same are the cases with your players who are your current  assets. Though footballing with clubs is totally professional with some emotional values and attachments. But as in business all you have to do is make a long term investment with a sale of your current asset. I relate the same case with Luis saurez’s case though he is an irreplaceable asset but has an uncertain reliability, you get a nice proposal to cash out you will be tempted to it though you have some emotional attachment with the asset. You are aware of what you have achieved with it, and what you will be loosing.

I would suggest to sell the asset and  replace it with same asset which contains the features of the former asset. If not, two or more asset who combine to deliver the performance of the earlier sold asset. If not think always of the future, Make investment which is going to be fruitful in long term as your long term investment. The sold amount must not be passive and should not be invested in unproductive asset.

The phase of sales of Fernando Torres and failure to make a replacement with the amount , I think suggests the example of the failed tactics in transfer market. Brendan Rogers selection so far has been good and he has made his investments productive and helped in grooming the players. The possible transfers of benefica winger Lazar Markovic , Lille striker Divock Origi and Southampton defenders Dejan Lovren proves Brendan Rodgers, selection in quality. Though he has to face the challenge of replacing the irreplaceable asset – Luis Suarez.

We have faith in the Liverpool Fc’s Leader, He will come up with some alternative for the loss and A gem is replaceable with a gem. So, we should go for a star player possessing the same attributes as the departing star Luis saurez who is good with balls, a central forward, attacker , skillfull and determined to the Reds.

If you have anything to say about the articles, you can post in the comments below, any comments, suggestions, criticisms are welcomed which provides me a room for improvement friends J

who's in, who's out, Liverpool Fc transfer updates till date..!!

A lot of Buzz is going around in the market about Liverpool’s transfer activities and most of you friends might be aware about the players involved that Liverpool FC have targeted and aimed to include them in their squad next season. Who’s coming in and who’s going out? Everybody has curiosity among the Livepool FC fans. Brendan Rodgers along with his crew members have been monitoring different players also make correspondence to their respective clubs through their agents.

The hot subject matter regarding the Transfer activities, Luis Suarez is in highlight these because of his controversial game against Italy, where it is believed that he bit Giorgio Chillini of Italy. Because of this activity he is facing a 4 month suspension from any football activities which will include 9 International matches and 12 league matches. Uruguya’s Football Association is going to make an appeal on this ban which is criticized as harsh punishment. Despite this incident, FC Barcelona is ready to meet the release cause of Luis Saurez which is supposed to be in between Pound 70 million to Pound 80 million. A lot of development has taken these days as it is expected the deal will be annotunced soon.

Liverpool also have shown interest in signing Barcelona’s ace, Alex sanchez which could also be a part of deal with Luis Suarez but the Chilean playmaker has shown his interests towards Arsenal FC turning down Livepool FC’s offer.

Liverpool FC have made some fantastic signings so far signing three different players, two from Southampton FC and one player from Bayern Leverkusen. The transfer details is summarized below.

Ricky Lamber – Southampton FC – For Pound 4 million
Emre Can – Bayern Leverkusen FC – For Pound 8 million
Adam Lallana – Southampton FC – For pound 25 million

Bendan Rodgers is still active in Transfer Market showing different interests to fulfill his attacking squad with a impenetrable defense. For, this he is eyeing some defenders and if the Luis Suarez deals get done he will also have to keep an eye for a forward as well.

Liverpool showed its interest in Dejan Loven- central back of Southampton FC who had a successful last season at St. Mary’s stadium Last season, but the pound 18million bid was rejected by Southampton FC as a lot of players have been going out from them, so they felt the necessity to keep their prized asset with themselves or wait for the agreeable price for the defender.

Barcelona’s striker Leonel Messi would welcome, Liverpool’s star Saurez to Barcelona and Former Liverpool striker has praised Luis Saurez claiming to be best in the likes of Diego Costa or Robin Van Persie.

It also has come to light that Turkish Giants Galatasary have shown interests in signing Liverpool Central Back Martin Skrtel. With a season long loan spell to Napoli , Pepe Raina will be staying at Liverpool despite some speculation of bid for the permanent move for the goal keeper from former Liverpool coah Rafael Benitez.

Liverpool’s coach Brendan Rodgers is aware of the situation of the squad he is building, the summer transfer market has been passive because of the world cup fever as everyone’s attention is diverted towards it and many players have displayed their worth in different games and one of them is Xherdan Shaqiri who scored a sensational hatrick.

The transfer gossips, rumors and speculation keeps going on some rumors turns to reality, some stays as rumors. How did you like the post friends? Please make your comments below in the comment box. I may have missed some updates please let me know.

Thanks for reading the post. You will never Walk Alone , Once a kop always a KOP.
